The name doesn’t immediately reveal what awaits you at the end of the long (really very long) country road: Las Barracas is a stunning and spacious finca with an expansive garden, an impressive patio, and breathtaking views in every direction. And it’s not only your wedding photographer in Mallorca who will love it. Surrounded by around 1,000 hectares of land, this centuries-old estate is an ideal event and wedding venue in Mallorca. Of course, the rooms are equipped with modern amenities and have been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. The twenty-minute drive from Palma that the owner advertises shouldn’t be taken too literally-after the turnoff at Paguera, you’ll still have about 15 minutes of driving through the forest before you arrive.
Amenities of Finca Las Barracas
For your finca wedding in Mallorca, Las Barracas offers just about everything you could wish for. The courtyard is beautiful, enclosed by old natural stone walls. Through a large wooden gate, a breathtaking view opens onto the meadow in front, which is perfect for a symbolic ceremony followed by a champagne reception. In total, there are 12 bedrooms for two guests each, some with private terraces and stunning mountain views. Each room is unique and lovingly renovated, featuring details such as centuries-old wooden beams or exposed stone walls. The property also includes two living rooms with fireplaces, a bar area, a dining room, and of course, a large pool. Celebrations can be held with up to 120 guests, though your caterer will need to bring their own production kitchen-which is not unusual for wedding catering on the island.

Location of the Country Lodge
Located in the southwest of Mallorca, areas like Paguera or Port d’Andratx are especially convenient if your guests are looking for nearby hotels or if you want to leave the estate for a while. Both are about a 15–20 minute drive away. Aside from that, there’s not much to explore immediately around the Country Lodge-the vast property is perfect for long walks but doesn’t offer other infrastructure. The upside? Your wedding will be completely private, and you can celebrate outdoors without worrying about noise restrictions or time limits.
My Conclusion: Las Barracas Country Lodge as a Wedding Finca
A wedding at Las Barracas is definitely an event in a unique setting. Its charm, excellent amenities, and privacy make the lodge an amazing wedding venue. However, you will need to handle some organization yourself-arranging catering and furniture, and ideally shuttling your guests with minibuses so no one gets lost on the way.
