Església Nova Wedding: Church and Finca Wedding Perfectly Combined
Església Nova Wedding: Church and Finca Wedding Perfectly Combined
A ceremony in the famous roofless church, followed by a celebration at the finca.
The Església Nova is always something special for me as a wedding photographer in Mallorca. The beautiful walls under the open sky create a unique atmosphere that you can probably only find in Mallorca.
Sunny Weddings in a Church? Only at the Església Nova
A truly unique wedding venue: The Església Nova is an unfinished church, whose construction in the 1930s simply ran out of money. Precisely for this reason, however, it has become one of the most well-known wedding venues on the island. Most church weddings on Mallorca are otherwise quite the opposite-dark and cold. Not so at this open-air church in Son Servera, on the east coast of the island. Without a roof, the Església Nova-spelled in Catalan-shines with full Mallorcan charm, under a blue sky and surrounded by palm trees. Simply amazing.
After the Església Nova: Celebrating Your Wedding at the Finca
The church, of course, can only be used for a Protestant or Catholic ceremony, so afterwards you need a venue suitable for a party! Kinga and Finn, who instantly fell in love with the Església Nova, continued their wedding plans just five minutes away with a fantastic finca wedding, the best wedding caterer Mallorca Food Club, the wonderful Sandra Backwinkel and Hernán Fillipini, full equipment provided by Gloria Events, and a party featuring the island’s most experienced DJ (Bono) along with Julio and his electric violin. It couldn’t get any better-a dream team for the most beautiful day of your life!
