The selection of breathtaking venues for your ceremony in Mallorca is simply enormous-one of the biggest reasons to consider the island as your wedding destination. Of course, everyone has their own idea of what the perfect wedding venue should look like. As a wedding photographer in Mallorca, I get to experience the full spectrum firsthand-from finca weddings to luxury hotels, beach clubs, and weddings by the sea, with all their advantages (and some drawbacks) up close.

Since I’m often asked about the most beautiful wedding venues in Mallorca, I’ve put together a small list. It doesn’t include the “objectively best” locations-because your personal preferences are too unique. Instead, you’ll find venues that I believe offer something truly special for your wedding in Mallorca. The list is constantly updated and expanded and contains only venues I can wholeheartedly recommend-places you won’t have already seen a hundred times on every other website. Read on below to learn more about:

Choosing the Right Wedding Venue

Selecting the perfect wedding venue in Mallorca depends on a few key factors that you should clarify at the start of your wedding planning. Just like booking your wedding photographer, you should reserve your venue on the island at least a year in advance. Many aspects of your wedding day-schedule, logistics, and overall possibilities-depend on the venue. So, what should you know before starting your search?

  • Approximately how many guests do you expect?
  • How many should be able to stay on-site?
  • How long do you plan to stay before and after the wedding?
  • What do you want to organize yourself? For example, catering, décor, music, etc.
  • Which style fits you best? Anything from rustic to ultra-modern is possible.

Once you have a clear idea of these points, you can focus your search for the right wedding venue more effectively. In the next step, take a closer look at each venue and make sure to consider the following:

  • Do you have a local contact person? Nothing is more frustrating than hunting for fuses or power outlets during the wedding.
  • Does the venue have bad-weather alternatives for the ceremony, dinner, and party?
  • How long are you allowed to celebrate outdoors, and what are the noise regulations?
  • Are there any other house rules you should be aware of?

Even after narrowing down your search, you might still be surprised by the number of options available. So, without keeping you in suspense any longer, here are some examples of truly amazing wedding venues in Mallorca.

Transparency Notice: Unfortunately, transparency is often lacking in the wedding industry as well as in blogs and magazines, which can lead to extra effort, additional costs, quality issues, and misunderstandings during your wedding planning-and, understandably, a lot of frustration. On my website, you will only find recommendations for wedding venues and service providers that I have personally experienced multiple times, who are based in Mallorca, and whom I trust for their quality and professionalism. I receive no commission or any other form of compensation for these recommendations.

Finca Wedding in Mallorca – or Prefer a Hotel?

A finca wedding in Mallorca is undoubtedly one of the most popular ways to say “I do” in a unique, authentically local setting. Celebrating until the early morning, cooling off in the pool, and enjoying spectacular views of Mallorca’s landscape are just a few of the compelling reasons to choose a wedding finca. Typically, you rent the finca for several days, which means you can have your symbolic ceremony, honeymoon, and-last but not least-the perfect backdrop for unforgettable wedding photos, all just steps away from your bedroom. This way, not only are you relaxed on the big day itself, but your guests will also fall under the charm of the finca.

An outdoor wedding among natural stone walls and olive trees already provides that unforgettable Mallorcan flair-without tons of floral decorations. On the other hand, hosting a large wedding party of fifty, a hundred, or more guests in your garden requires coordinating numerous vendors, equipment, décor, power supply, and setup and teardown. This can quickly make couples consider a hotel instead. After all, who wouldn’t appreciate fresh coffee and breakfast the morning after the wedding? And why not have the best of both worlds?

Wedding Fincas in Mallorca

Finca Hotels in Mallorca

A wonderful way to combine the comfort of a hotel with the idyllic, rustic charm of a finca is through the finca hotels on the island. Essentially, these are renovated fincas offering individual rooms or apartments along with classic hotel amenities such as breakfast, cleaning services, and more-luxurious Mallorcan fincas, so to speak. With breathtaking views of the Tramuntana mountains, the sea, or even your own vineyard, the selection is just as extensive as for traditional fincas. One example is Malte’s Finca Hotel Can Bota: a stunning oasis created by Malte and Maxi over the past few years. Here, you have a finca with seven double rooms and enchanting outdoor spaces all to yourselves, while still enjoying full hotel services. You can celebrate and, of course, get married with up to 80 guests by the pool, in the expansive garden with countless terraces, in the forest, the vaulted bar, or almost anywhere. Trust me: a ceremony in Malte’s garden natural “amphitheater” is unmatched in Mallorca-your wedding photographer will love the perfect view!

And your wedding planner, ensuring a smooth event on-site, is already there at the finca hotels. You’ll quickly notice: these aren’t just service providers-they are friends excited to share their finca with you.

Finca Hotel as a Wedding Venue

Celebrate and Relax on the Finca

A countryside wedding at the same hotel as your in-laws doesn’t sound like pure relaxation? On most fincas, spanning several hectares with beautifully landscaped Mediterranean gardens, you’ll find more than enough private spaces to unwind. You can also explore Mallorca’s east coast on a trip to the sea or the western mountains for a change of scenery.

Wedding Celebrations in Luxury Hotels

It’s not just fincas that provide the perfect setting for a romantic wedding. If budget is less of a concern, you can also tie the knot and celebrate in a luxury hotel. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing many stunning weddings at locations such as Castillo Hotel Son Vida, Jumeirah Port de Sóller, and Cap Rocat. No doubt, the exceptional service at these dream venues creates the perfect atmosphere-and the breathtaking views alone provide an amazing backdrop for photos. In addition, you benefit from excellent infrastructure and are usually not far from Palma, making it easier for your guests to attend. And again, there’s no need to worry about a wedding planner on Mallorca-on-site event professionals are well connected and experienced. My personal tip among the high-end hotels: the Pula Golf Resort.

Locations for Weddings by the Sea

Finding wedding venues directly by the sea in Mallorca is not as easy as you might think. Sure, everyone knows Son Marroig, but you need to book very early and prepare for high costs. Classic event venues are generally found further inland. So where can you find a property with a sea view for your unforgettable wedding? I’ve gathered more information here for a beach wedding and, of course, for your wedding by the sea.
